The RCMP seized a massive haul of drugs, cash and stolen property while executing a pair of search warrants in West Kelowna in March.
The Kelowna RCMP’s Proactive Enforcement Unit executed the warrants alongside West Kelowna Mounties and the Southeast District Emergency Response Team.
“This was the culmination of a lengthy investigation in relation to property crime and drug trafficking throughout the Central Okanagan,” noted an RCMP release.
Police said the raids resulted in the seizure of a “substantial amount” of drugs, cash and stolen property, which included:
A pair of Central Okanagan residents were also arrested, but they have since been released as the investigation continues.
Cpl. Guillaume Tanguay said the local RCMP is dedicated to the safety of the public and targeting repeat property theft.
He said his unit will continue to pursue people who engage in criminal activity in the community and beyond.
